January Review: $7875.26 Profit

Just finished up my last day of play in January. Coming into the month I had planned to put in a lot of volume and try to maximize the deep runs I could make. I played 21 days for 150 hours and 264 MTTs. I was did not make as many deep runs as I would like to have and most of my Profit came from one lone Sunday. Although I did make a decent amount, I know I cannot continue like this. Because of FullTilt's Multiple-entry week, I lost about $400 in profit and missed 4 days that I would normally play. 

I made a run at sit-n-goes but found that they can be very volatile with your bankroll and are too much related to luck. 

On the upside - I did run into a ton of really weak players and I would estimate I busted from about 1/3 of my tourneys getting very unlucky. One today sticks out that reminds me of that:

This player made a really light 3bet- which i dont think was too bad. I was pretty sure he was not very strong and would fold to a 4bet. when he flatted and I shoved the flop (I think he has to have a big hand to call here- qq, JJ, 1010), he literally snap called and turned the diamond. This guy ended up finishing 5th and making about $1200. Just a really weak play from a weak player and this type of thing frustrated me.

For FEBRUARY:

- I won't be playing FTOPS since I am pretty much elminated from affording the multi-entry buy-ins

- I will look to focus more and play only my strongest tourneys- no omaha, superturbos or multi-entries.

- My goal for February is to make 5 final tables and $10k in profit.
