Bachelor Party!

This is the first of hopefully many blogs for me here. Preparing all day for my moving to North Bay later this month and after reading several posts by a known poker player that gave me some great insight, I thought it would be a really good idea for me to keep in touch with people but also allow myself to talk about the important things to me.

This weekend was Pete`s bachelor party and we had a great time. There were, however, a few uncomfortable and anxious moments throughout the weekend that mainly came as a result of the large number of people that were there. For the most part these things had to do with leaving things out, not having sleeping space for all, and general disagreements amongst our guests. The cottage in question, my aunt and uncle`s two bedroom modern bungalow in Gananoque. This place is amazing, and they have never been tentative to offer it out to anyone who was interested, this however, has worried me of late in that it may become uncomfortable for them to do so while feeling confident that they will get best out of it themselves. They are very giving people and I don`t think they would ever really feel bad about lending out their place, but I worry that they may be too generous for their own good. What a great quality to have though!! Truly great people, they even were okay with us having 13 people stay when the palce only sleeps 5!

While at the cottage we visited my Dad and his wife, Mary! Also super understanding, they volunteered to housed my uncle and even came by to say hi to us all and pitch in with a little tubing-assistance. In the future I think we will stay somewhere that has 1) more space for our huge party 2) has a maid service (as even after we left and checked things two and three times, we were still worried we hadn`t tidied enough)

Cutting it close from 4 nights to 3, I am glad to be home, have had some great time with FMB(future Mrs. B) and GW (Gus-Welly).

Watching the new show, More to Love we are finally settled for the night, where I am deciding on playing some tourneys after FMB goes to sleep.

I hope to talk about my life in London, North Bay and all the trips we hope to take in the next little bit. The wedding, Poker, sports and post some photos. So whoever I draw to read this, I hope you enjoy and send your feedback, I love to write and what better to write about then the things I love (listed above, inclusive- FMB & GW).
